CLIENT: USLAG, 1998
At the request of writers
Mike Kenwood and George Williams, I helped them produce an unofficial
companion to the tough 1970s police series The Sweeney,
self-published under the imprint USLAG.
As Fags, Slags, Blags
and Jags: The Sweeney was unlicenced, I staged and shot
front and back cover photographs and treated them graphically in the
style of the programme's title sequence. Because the book was
non-profit making and written as a critical guide, we were able to use
screen grabs from the TV episodes without charge.
The book is now a sought
after collectors' item.
