My extensive knowledge of
popular culture – in film, television and popular music – and the
wellbeing sector has contributed to a number of acclaimed projects,
including ten books, exhibitions, numerous online and print articles,
and the 2024 award for Best Heritage Social Prescribing Project.
Some highlights of my
career have been:
|
Graphic designer for
legendary musicians David Bowie, Oasis and The Stranglers.
Photographer of such well known rock acts as Sex Pistol Glen Matclock,
The Damned and Hugh Cornwell, as well as up and coming bands like The
Molotovs, A.R.T., Laurie Wright and Jehenna.
|
|
Artist, photographer,
writer and graphic designer for The Restoration Trust, a charity
connecting people who live with mental health issues with heritage
events and activities.
|
|
Producing communications -
posters, flyers and photography - for the Fabba Theatre Company, an
acting troupe for adults with learning difficulties based in Lowestoft
and Great Yarmouth.
|
|
Artist and photographer
for the archaeological team at the Sainsbury Institute for the Study
of Japanese Arts and Culture in Norwich, Norfolk. In November 2024, we
were granted an award by the Japanese ambassador to the UK, honouring
the exchange program SJAC operates between UK academics and their
Japanese counterparts in Tokyo and Kyoto.
|
|
Researching, writing and
designing the book The Prisoner: The Official Companion to the
Classic TV Series. Includes interviews I conducted with
scriptwriters Anthony Skene and Roger Parkes, actors Kenneth Griffith
and Peter Wyngarde and stuntman Frank Maher.
