CLIENT: BLACK SHUCK FESTIVAL, 2025
In August 2025, the second
annual Black Shuck Festival was held in Bungay, Suffolk.
The festival offers three
days of live performances, art, stories, music, dance and creative
activities based on the legend of Black Shuck – the devil dog which,
folklore has it, attacked Bungay’s Holy Trinity Church in 1577. The
incident is re-enacted every year, with a guest celebrity playing the
rector. Recent personalities taking on the role have included
Inside No. 9’s Reece Shearsmith and Adam Buxton.
