Release of extra material
related to Patrick McGoohan’s surreal 1960s thriller series. This
included an early edit of the first episode, a Renault 21 advert which
used imagery from the series, a piece on Prisoner
memorabilia collectors and an interview with The Prisoner ’s production
manager, Bernard Williams (above left).
As well as acting as
consultant, I wrote interactive biographies of McGoohan and script
editor George Markstein (above right) and supplied the pictorial content. I also
provided all the images for an extensive ‘Merchandise Gallery’.
Finally, I wrote the production notes on each of the 17 episodes for
the collectors’ booklet (left).
