CLIENT: RED HERRING THEATRE COMPANY, THE MARINA
THEATRE, 2022-ongoing
In September 2022, I began
acting for the Red Herring Theatre Company, based at The Seagull
community theatre in Lowestoft. After an open audition, I
was cast in Conor McPherson’s play The Weir (above left). It was a
challenging first role: only five actors in the cast, on stage for an
hour and a half, with each character delivering a long monologue.
After The Weir’s
successful run in November 2022, I was cast in Antigone
(left) for its three-night run in April 2023. In
November, I played Jacob Marley in The Marina Community Theatre
Company's A Christmas Carol
(above middle).
In 2024, I've stage managed TMCT's Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde,
with my social media updates featuring my drawings of rehearsals. I
continue to participate in The Marina's over-50s acting group Next
Stagers. Our latest production, Murder at the Garden Fete, in
which I played Col. Redshank (above right), played both at The
Marina and The Waveney Centre, Beccles.
