I was approached to write
a chapter for this book focusing on how The Avengers had
touched my life and influenced me. My essay was one of more than forty
commissioned from international writers, who came together to present a
comprehensive record of fan experiences from around the globe.
The Avengerworld
book was published in aid of charity, the beneficiary being
Champion Chanzige, who send aid to an
under-resourced primary school in South Tanzania.
Within three months of the
book's launch, the funds it had raised for the charity paid for the
purchase and installation of a water harvesting system at the school
(left). The book can be purchased from
